I am a wife and mother of three, with a strong passion for helping small business owners grow their local presence through effective marketing strategies. As the Editor of Social Northshore Magazine and the CMO of XXIII Marketing, I bring years of connections and experience to the table. Having grown up on the Northshore, I am dedicated to serving the community and making it a better place for families like mine.
Q: Please tell us a little bit about your family.
I recently got married to a wonderful man that I went to school with since we were kids, Brian. We have three amazing kids that are the heartbeat of my life.
Q: Please tell us about your current, past, or future career. What do you love most about what you do?
I started my career in 2008 as a social media marketer specializing in vlogging. The digital space has grown so much since then and spent the early years of my children’s lives mostly home with them and shooting photography as a hobby. Which quickly grew into a full career of it’s on. For 12 years, I owned and operated a photography studio until all my kids were in school. Social Northshore was a natural transition back into working with the community on building their local marketing and advertising. Spending time with business owners and leaders and learning about their passions is what I love most about what I do.
Q: What are a couple of your favorite restaurants in our community?
I love Odelia, Tchefuncte’s and Rips on the Lake!
Q: How long have you lived or worked in our community?
I have lived on the Northshore my whole life and love raising my children here.
Q: What is one of your favorite movies? TV shows?
I love documentaries of almost any kind.
Q: What advice would you give to people?
In all aspects of life, if it’s not a hell yea…it’s a no. Wait for the hell yea moments!
Q: If you could choose anyone that is alive today and not a relative; with whom would you love to have lunch? Why? And where locally would y’all meet for this lunch?
Great question, I would love to have lunch with Mila Kunis. I love the way her family is always giving back to various charities and her beautiful story of her success. I probably would take her for delicious coffee at Cured.
Q: What is your favorite thing or something unique about our community?
The people! Our community is full of locals with such servant hearts.
Q: Where do you see yourself in 5 to 10 years?
Doing more of the same by continuing to help other businesses grow.
Q: (Even for friends or family), what is something interesting that most people don’t know about you?
I’m extremly introverted!
Q: What would you rate a 10 out of 10?
My support system. When life threw curveballs, my friends and family were right there with me.
Q: Who inspires you to be better?
My kids, without questions, my kids. Being a single mama for quite a while, my kids gave me the strength to do more and to strive for any goal I saw in front of me.
Q: Finally, what 3 words or phrases come to mind when you think of the word HOME?
Calm, cozy and family.
