I’m a Christian, husband and father who loves the outdoors when it’s not 800 degrees outside. I’m in the camp that loves the mountains versus going to the beach. I enjoy DIY projects, investing in real estate and the stock market, and traveling to new places that are not crowded. I served 20 years in the Air Force as a commissioned officer and another 20 years developing high-profile, multi-million dollar self-funding energy efficiency and renewable energy projects around the world for several of our U.S. military bases. I am living out chapter 3 of my life as a fee-only financial coach where I help people sort out their personal and business finances in order to build the life of their dreams. I DON’T SELL ANY PRODUCTS. I have had some amazing experiences and use what I have learned to help other people. www.yourpersonalfinancialcoach.com
Q: Please tell us about your current, past, or future career. What do you love most about what you do?
As a fee-only financial coach, people invite me into their lives as a guide to help them navigate forward, see what they can’t see and get further than they can on their own. I love helping people overcome what’s really holding them back from living a life with more fulfillment and purpose. It’s possible to focus on impact before income. Money is just a tool and it should enable everyone to achieve their goals and dreams.

Bears, The Chimes, Reginelli’s Pizza
Q: How long have you lived or worked in our community?
23 years
Q: What is one of your favorite movies? TV shows?
Dances with Wolves because it’s epic and then The Jason Bourne Movies
Q: What advice would you give to people?
Know who you are, know what you believe, and be willing to act on it every day. It’s not what you say, but rather what you do that matters most. The world will try to tell you how to live, how act, how to be. Don’t listen. Discover why you were created, operate in it, and live life on purpose. Structure your lives in a way that aligns with your goals and dreams and don’t let things like debt hold you back from what matters most. Face your fears and work to have fewer regrets. Life is too short to die all tensed up.
Q: If you could choose anyone that is alive today and not a relative; with whom would you love to have lunch? Why? And where locally would y’all meet for this lunch?
The “ordinary person”, because ordinary people do extraordinary things every day. I am not in to #influencers. We would go to Bears Restaurant for poboys because it serves some real food at somewhat affordable prices and no frills.

The diverse scenery including the trees, the rivers, the bayous and the lake.

In the same place doing what I am doing working to continue to round out a legacy.
