Hi, I’m Shelby Clement, a wife, a mama of two boys, and an entrepreneur. I am a Louisiana girl, born and raised. Family is my everything. I graduated from LSU in 2013 with a bachelor’s degree in Marketing and from LSUS in 2017 with an MBA. As a 32-year-old woman, I am very ambitious and ready to chase my dreams.

Growing up around business has taught me the true value of hard work and what it takes to be successful in a business. (Thank you to my hardworking parents). It truly does not come easy, but it is so very worth it.

My goal is to build a team that is as equally passionate as I am in helping small businesses reach their full potential through social media marketing. I have succeeded thus far with the five extraordinary women on my team now.

Keep reading, and get to know the women of SCM! We are here to help you with all your Social Media needs.

Q: Please tell us a little bit about your family.
I’ve been married to my cutie of a husband, Jonathan, since January 2018. He is my biggest supporter and pushes me to be my best. We have two little boys, Henry, 4, and William, 2.

Q: Please tell us about your current, past, or future career. What do you love most about what you do?
I worked in the oil and gas industry for eight years. I knew I wasn’t fulfilled in my career and decided to pursue my passion for helping people more directly and creatively.

I attended a marketing conference in 2020, where I quickly realized a significant need for social media managers. In May 2021, with over ten years of social media marketing experience, I set out to begin a business in social media marketing and management. By February 2021, I had landed my first client; the rest is history!

Driven to help businesses succeed and develop lasting relationships, I founded SCM (Shelby Clement Marketing).

Since then, SCM has helped many clients strengthen their brands, increase brand awareness, and propel them toward their business goals.

The sky is the limit for the future of SCM as we continue to grow; I will be pushing out a podcast shortly to discuss social media, being a mompreneur, and the hardships and successes of being a business owner.
